The printed version of the EKD Bulletin is published in English and has a circulation of about 2000 copies. It appears quarterly and goes to recipients on all continents - including partner churches, universities, embassies, German cultural institutions and interested individuals.

The Bulletin provides information on events occurring within the Protestant Church in Germany and publishes EKD statements on topical ecclesiastical, ecumenical and social themes. It is published by the EKD Church Office and the editorial contents are decided in cooperation with the EKD Social Service Agency, the Association of Protestant Churches and Missions, and the Protestant Development Service. The Bulletin has been published since 1976, so it already has a twenty five year history. The complete editions have also been accessible on the Internet for several years.
