Professor, pastor and communicator vie for Berlin bishop's post

Berlin (ENI). A pastor who originally trained as a car mechanic is one of three candidates nominated as possible successors of Bishop Wolfgang Huber at the head of the regional Protestant church that covers Berlin and the area that surrounds the German capital. Rüdiger Sachau, who is now the director of the Protestant Academy in Berlin, decided when he left school he wanted "to learn something different", the Protestant news agency epd reported after the names of the candidates were announced on 13 February.
